Promoting the plate at veterinary clinics

The MAC Animal-Friendly License Plate Task Force thanks you for being willing to place the enclosed materials in your place of business. With your help, more plates will be sold and  more shelter and rescue animals in Massachusetts will be spayed and neutered. Here are some suggestions for the placement of posters and flyers in your veterinary facility:

Posters can be placed in:
•windows
•reception areas
•under counters or on walls
•on cabinets
•veterinary exam rooms (NOTE: Some veterinarians have taped
posters to the back of both doors of the exam rooms. While the client
waits to see the veterinarian, s/he can read about the Animal-Friendly
license plate.)

Flyers can go in clear brochure stands (Staples sells them) or in white
cardboard stands supplied by MAC.

Suggestions for placement are:
•on a bulletin board
•on a counter
•in a reception area
•in veterinary exam rooms
•included in newsletters or mailings
•paper clipped to every client’s paperwork

Many veterinarians have been very creative in their promotion of this worthy
program. If you come up with great ideas and would like to share them with
us, please email us at [email protected].
