Members meet three times a year. Meetings feature invited speakers. Each meeting includes an opportunity for members to update others about progress with their task forces. MAC meetings promote vigorous discussion and positive interactions, and the animals benefit as a result. Annual Meeting (registration coming soon)
The MAC annual meeting scheduled for Oct 26, 2014 at Tufts in Grafton, MA promises to be a popular one!  Join or renew your MAC membership today in order to receive priority meeting registration.

The meeting topic will be “The Never Ending Conversation: Animal Transport”.  Details are still being worked out but here’s a teaser:
•    Hear from those in other states who routinely transport animals into Massachusetts
•    How does the history of dog importation inform how we handle cat importation
•    Discuss the ethical, moral and humane aspects of transport
•    Other goodies to be announced
We will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the “I’m Animal Friendly” License Plate so leave room for cake and bring mad money for some fun raffles.

Meetings are generally held from 9am until between 1pm and 3pm. Meetings are held at the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Grafton, MA. Meeting costs vary for members, non-members and students, as well as due to the length of the meeting (and whether lunch is served) but usually range from $12-$30.
